The Just Awareness Consultants (JAC) was established in 2023 as a profitable organization. The initiative was led by a few renowned human rights and gender rights activists. Their aim was to create awareness, organize and capacitate workers’ rights and provide informed input to trade unions and various civil society organizations for the promotion of citizens.

We have office in Lahore and activities throughout Pakistan. We have been devoting considerable resources towards supporting and enabling formal and informal sector workers to organize themselves, develop their knowledge, claim their rights and transform unequal power relations.

An aware, just, peaceful and confident society where working classmen, women and youth— are empowered to claim and protect their social, economic and political rights.

Conscious, informed and gender sensitized workers working for a peaceful society.

The JAC engages in a sustainable process of change for enabling citizens to demand economic justice, eradicate poverty, especially women and marginalized communities.

The process includes:

• Raising consciousness regarding political, legal, social and economic rights, 
• Developing associations,
• Capacity building of workers’ groups, encouraging the participation of women 
• Linking issues with health and the environment.

The National level, General Body has 15 members nominated by Media organizations, academia person and workers’ organizations affiliated with us.
BOARD:
A 7 -member Board elected bi-annually by the General Body during the JAC Congress, assists in identifying policy guidelines for the organization.
STAFF:
Right now, all board members are working as volunteer.
